Picto is initially conceived by the Danish designers Erling Anderson and Steen Georg in 1984. It attempts to express a picture in time. The rotating watch face features a steel dot that keeps track of the hours, mimicking the effect of the moving earth and the resulting passage of time. It also has a normal minute hand. Picto is the first modern wristwatch to employ this system of rotary disk, driven by a Miyota Quartz.
