Traditional porcelain-making involves either throwing clay on a wheel or using a mold. Playing with these concepts, our artisans have deconstructed a Blanc de Chine porcelain bowl into delicate handmade tiles, and then reconstructed it again. The result is a stunning and unusual contemporary bowl which is sculptural and unique. It is equally suited as a decorative piece of art on an etagere, a striking centerpiece filled with fruit or flowers, or a potted plant. With a glossy finish, the uses are innumerable.
